CopyPlug is an email and SMS marketing agency based in San Antonio, Texas, United States. We are the controller of the personal information described in this policy. You can reach us any time at nate@copyplughq.com.

- Your email address, when you subscribe to our newsletter.
- Your name, email address and any details you enter, when you book a call with us.
- Your brand or website address, if you share it so we can look at your marketing.
- Anything you write to us directly by email or social media.
Information collected automatically
- Device and browser information, including IP address, browser type, operating system and screen size.
- How you use the site, including pages viewed, time on page, scroll depth and which buttons you click.
- Referral information, including the site or advertisement you arrived from.
We do not collect payment card details on this website, and we do not ask for or store sensitive categories of personal information such as health, biometric or government identification data.
3. Cookies and tracking
This site uses cookies and similar technologies. Some are necessary for the site to work. Others are advertising and analytics cookies set by the third parties listed in section 4, and are used to measure our marketing and to show you relevant advertising.
You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings. You can also opt out of interest-based advertising through the Digital Advertising Alliance, or by adjusting your ad preferences directly with Meta. Blocking cookies will not stop you using this site.
4. Who we share information with
We do not sell your personal information for money. We use the following service providers, each of which receives some information when you use our site.

6. Our legal bases (UK and EU visitors)
- Consent, for marketing emails and for advertising and analytics cookies. You can withdraw it at any time.
- Legitimate interests, for keeping the site secure and understanding how it is used.
- Legal obligation, where the law requires us to keep records.
7. Your rights
Wherever you live, you can email nate@copyplughq.com to access, correct or delete the personal information we hold about you. We will not treat you differently for exercising any of these rights.
If you are in the UK or EU
Under the UK GDPR and EU GDPR you also have the right to restrict or object to processing, the right to data portability, the right to withdraw consent at any time, and the right to complain to your local data protection authority.
If you are in California
Under the CCPA and CPRA you have the right to know what we collect and why, the right to delete it, the right to correct it, and the right to opt out of the sale or sharing of your personal information.
We do not sell personal information for money. However, our use of the Meta Pixel for advertising may count as sharing personal information for cross-context behavioural advertising under California law. To opt out, email us with the subject line Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information, or block advertising cookies in your browser.
8. Marketing emails
Every marketing email we send includes a working unsubscribe link and our postal address. Unsubscribing takes effect immediately, and we will not add you back without your permission.
9. How long we keep it
We keep newsletter subscriptions until you unsubscribe, and for a short period afterwards so we can honour your opt-out. Booking and enquiry records are kept for up to three years. Analytics and advertising data are kept according to the retention settings of the providers listed in section 4.
10. Security
This site is served over HTTPS, and the providers we use are established platforms with their own security programmes. No method of transmission over the internet is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.
11. International transfers
We are based in the United States and our service providers are primarily based there. If you are outside the US, your information will be transferred to and processed in the US, where data protection law may differ from your own.
12. Children
This site is intended for business owners and is not directed at children under 16. We do not knowingly collect information from children. If you believe a child has given us information, email us and we will delete it.
13. Changes to this policy
If we change this policy we will update the effective date at the top. Material changes will be communicated to newsletter subscribers by email.
